These things No. 24

Last weekend in February - how is everyone feeling? As eager for spring as I am? Hard to imagine its near. It is sooooooo cold in Geneva, and the flu is going around madly. I have been sniffling and tired and achy, and surrounded myself with pink tulips similar to those featured here to brighten the apartment this weekend. Also, with the Olympics, all my TV is on pause. Am I the only one eager for those games to finish up? In the meantime, I'm reading a very interesting book that is reminding me of the rich literary history of this city, and Switzerland. Perhaps it will inspire something during this sick, very uninspired, TV-less weekend (though this list of movies on Netflix may just save the day yet).

Here are some things from around the web this week:

  1. #NeverAgain
  2. This mother profile, and this one too
  3. A call to end college legacy admissions
  4. Babies and empathy
  5. Ah, I'm a fan. I'm such a fan.
  6. I loved the relaunch of this series.
  7. Upcoming dates to donate blood in the U.S.
  8. Yummmmmmmmm
  9. The Louvre's secret apartments
  10. This stair runner
